Over the last week multi-value or post-relational databases were mentioned a couple of times in the media (media is a rather loose term these days).
The first was last weeks edition (episode 118) of Cranky Greeks. During the discussion (or ranting) the PICK OS was referred to as the original file system and database combination rather than Microsoft’s aborted file system for Vista, and now possibly MS-Windows 7.
And this week, in the latest issue of eWeek, is an article (Flying Under The Radar) by Charles Barouch regarding the state of the play of post relational databases. Charles is a board member of the U2UG. It is not possible to link to the actual article, as it is an e-publication, so flip through to pages 30 and 31 to have a read.
